Contract Maintenance & Service
Independent Mechanical Industries (IMI) has been providing local Municipalities and their water and waste water departments services with its Contract Maintenance & Service division since the 1930's. Seventy five percent (75%) of the divisions business is performed in the public sector with the balance being done for the private sector.
The division performs projects that range from a few thousand dollars to multi million dollar ones. These projects are performed on either a Time & Material or Lump Sum basis depending on the client's needs, schedule and preference. Often, the division's involvement in smaller projects puts it in a position to take a lead role in major capital projects in the future.
The Contract Maintenance & Service division performs over 1,000 individual jobs per year and is capable of responds to emergency service calls within 2 hours, 24 hours a day. In addition to performing mechanical services on boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and control work, the division is capable of hiring craftsmen from all of the building trades, in order to provide complete turnkey services for any project. The division is also responsible for start-up services on equipment installed by other IMI divisions.
As a full service mechanical contractor, IMI works closely with the customer throughout the layout, installation and startup phases.
Support from the other divisions of IMI allows the Contract Maintenance & Service division to function essentially as a full service mechanical contractor capable of designing, estimating and installing custom solutions to its clients. The division offers maintenance agreements, customized to suit each individual clients needs.
